How to Make Another (Follow-On) Call
Without Hanging Up
When the called party hangs up, if you stay on the line you will
hear the Operator Voice Menu.
This is the same one you hear when you lift your handset and dialling
"0" (using an ATA, SIP phone or softphone)
- Press 1
- Enter the next phone Number you wish to call
Follow-on calls do not require you to re-enter your Account Number
and PIN
How to Setup a Verified ORIGINATION Number
You can "register" your calling number as a "Verified
Origination Number" so that you do not have to enter your Account
Number and PIN every time. Eg. If you make lots of Access Number
calls from one or more special locations (like your home or friend's home) We will assume here that you already use an ATA or SIP Phone at home.
to 1CC
- Select Voice from the menu
- Select Access Number
- Check (1) to see which Access Numbers you have enabled
- From the list (2) choose an access number type that you wish
to be enabled.
- In the Verified Origination Numbers section enter the
phone number you wish to verify
- Numbers must always be entered in the Full International Format
(eg. 61282119162)
- Dial ANY Net2MAX Access Number (in Australia simply call 138813)
- You MUST call this number from a PSTN phone NOT an internet phone
- CLI (Calling Line Identification) MUST be enabled on this phone
or it will not work
- Enter 0
- Enter your Account Number (prompt is for OZnumber) then # (Hash or Pound)
- Enter Your PIN (prompt is for Password) then #
- You will hear the Operator Voice Menu
- Select Option 5
- Follow the voice prompt "To Verify a Registered Origination
Number, Press 2"
- Press 2
- Enter your Account Number then #
- Enter your PIN then #
- You will hear a voice announcement of Passed or Failed
- Hang Up
- Make a call to an Access number
- Check that you no longer have to enter your Account Number and
PIN
- There's over
100 Access Numbers around the world
- You MUST dial from the actual physical telephone for the number
to be verified
- Verified Origination Numbers can be turned on and off at any time.
- You can leave the numbers in the system and simply disable them.
- If you wish to enable a number again you must go through the registration
procedure all over again.
IMPORTANT NOTES
YOU will incur the cost (decremented from your Call account) of
ANY call EVERY time ANYONE calls you or uses ANY Access number using
YOUR account details. Setting a Registered Origination Number will
ALWAYS charge YOU for calls made from that number (when they call
into an access number first) This is the same logic as registering
a phonecard for use on a particular number.
